- Laura Perin (Social Networks Communication, Brand Communication & Design)
Laura Perin received her degree in Architecture at the University of Technology-GRAZ, Austria. Currently, she is a freelancer focused on strategy and visual communication. She is the co-founder of MIXT (www.media-mixt.com) and has collaborated with Interaction Design Lab (Milan) and Turn World Design Capital (Turin.) She has done communication-media strategy for Dellekamp Arquitectos, an architectural firm in Mexico City. Perin has also conducted a workshop at Commde, Chulalongkorn University and is an external professor at Nuova Accademia Di Belle Arti (Naba) Milan.
- James S.C. Pappas (Film, Photography)
James S.C. Pappas graduated his M.A. in Film: Theory, History & Criticism from The University of Leeds, UK and has also studied at the Prague Film School, Czech Rep. As well as having made several short films, documentaries and music videos, he has also had several articles published in international film journals. To date, he has won two competitions and had his films shown in several of Europe’s most respected Film Festivals.
At the moment he teaches at various institutes including Chulalongkorn University, and works as a freelance filmmaker and screenwriter.
- Mike Vancoillie (Fashion)
Mike Vancoillie graduated from Sint Lucas University of Science & Arts in Ghent, Belgium. He has his own brand, Kerozin. He teaches as well at Raffles Design Institute in Bangkok. He has conducted workshops in Mali, Thailand and Belgium and exhibited his work in Belgium.
- Bemas Chan (Fashion)
Ajarn Bemas Chan is a multi-artist, Fashion Design and Jewelry design Consultant, Performer, and Actor. He has had 38 years of experience in the Arts, Design, and Theatre. His varied background and ability to morph his talents into various disciplines makes him different from most instructors; his passion enthusiasm and love for Fashion is infectious. Ajarn Bemas received a Bachelor of fine arts at the Parsons School of Design, New York City, majoring in Design Metals/ Jewelry and minoring in Fashion Illustration & Design, Portfolio and Fashion History. In 1998, he graduated from GIA’s Graduate Gemologist program. Ajarn Bemas was also trained in Fine Jewelry Design by Alfred Durante of the House of Cartier. From 2003- 2009, he was a pioneering Fashion Design teacher at Raffles Design Institute, Thailand and was Head of Fashion Design from 2005 - 2008. In 1996, he was a part-time teacher at SIA LaSalle College of the Arts in “Jewelry Design and Fabrication” as part of the degree Program associated with Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia.
- Akarat Varinsathien (Fashion)
Akarat Varinsathien studied Fashion Design at Raffles LaSalle International Design School and LaSalle College, Singapore. From 2004-2009, he was a Senior Fashion Design Lecturer at Raffles Design Institute, Bangkok. Akarat has won several awards including “Taxila Young Designer Contest 2000” (Thailand) and “Palm Pilot Jacket Design Contest 2001” (Singapore.) He has shown his work at Thailand Premier Fashion Show for Bangkok International Film Festival 2005 for “Phantom of The Opera,” “Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2005,” and “HEP 5 Fashion Contest in Osaka” from 2005 - 2007.
